Seibu Railway Co is now running the “Winter Chichibu Destination Campaign,” featuring the Sanrio character Hello Kitty as the campaign’s mascot. Since 16th January 2016, and through to 27th March 2016, a “Chichibu Hello Kitty Train” is in operation.
A stamp rally is also being held, allowing visitors to experience the tastes, nature, and history of the Chichibu area (located in Saitama prefecture, northwest of Tokyo). Participants who collect at least 4 stamps from 9 possible locations can receive a special limited edition “Hello Kitty Meets Chichibu” pin badge.
Customers who purchase a Seibu special offer passenger ticket such as the Chichibu Free Ticket or Chichibu Seibu Manyu Travel Ticket will also receive a Hello Kitty design Chichibu Visit Commemorative Certificate.
“Share cameras” will also be installed in the Tokorozawa Station building “Toko Terrace” and within the grounds of Chichibu Shrine. Visitors can use the photographs they take at these share cameras to contribute to mosaic art on the special event website.

Participants who collect stamps from 4 or more stamp locations including the Ikebukuro Seibu Tourist Information Center and Seibu-Chichibu Station will receive a special commemorative “Hello Kitty Meets Chichibu” limited edition pin badge. Only one of the 5 strawberry farms may be included.
