New Osaka-Tokyo Hokuriku Arch Pass

JR East and JR West will launch the Osaka-Tokyo Hokuriku Arch Pass to provide overseas tourists more economical travel from Osaka and Tokyo to the Hokuriku area.

With this pass, visitors can travel from the Kansai, Narita and Haneda airports to the Hokuriku area by Hokuriku shinkansen (bullet-train), limited express trains and other services.

Usage period

Throughout the year, beginning on April 1, 2016 (Friday)

7 consecutive days

Adults (aged 12 and up) Children (aged 6 to 11)
Purchased abroad 24,000 yen 12,000 yen
Purchased in Japan 25,000 yen 12,500 yen

Features

Unlimited travel on ordinary reserved seats on the limited express trains (shinkansen included), express trains and local trains of Kansai Airport, the Kansai area, the Hokuriku area, Tokyo Metropolitan District and Narita and Haneda Airports (in the case of the Haruka limited express, ordinary car non-reserved seats)

  • The Haruka limited express between Kansai-Airport and Shin-Osaka/Kyoto (non-reserved seats)
  • The Thunderbird limited express between Osaka and Kanazawa and the Hokuriku Shinkansen between Kanazawa and Tokyo
  • The Narita Express limited experses in the pass area
  • The Tokyo Monorail between Hamamatsucho and Haneda Airport Terminal 2
  • JR lines in the Keihanshin region (Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe and Nara) and JR lines in the Tokyo Metropolitan District
  • Etsumi-Hoku Line, Nanao Line, Hime Line, Johana Line, Takayama Main Line (between Toyama and Inotani) and Oito Line (between Itoigawa and Minami-Otari)
  • IR Ishikawa Railway, Ainokaze Toyama Railway and Noto Railway

Eligibility

Only overseas visitors with the entry status Temporary Visitor are eligible for this pass. You must also show your passport and return air ticket/travel document at time of purchase.
